Katerina is Egyptian vulture, hateched together with Paschalis in 2013, in Dadia. Both of them was tagged with satellite transmitters. On September 13, 2013 Katerina started its long journey from a North-Eastern part of Crete, a small island named Plakida where it roosted during the night,a route to Africa for over than 500 kilometers. In about 130 kilometers before Africa's coast could not resist and drowned in the vast sea. Katerina, the younger Egyptian vulture was not as lucky as its brother, who choosed other route.
