Illegal wildlife trade

Wildlife trafficking is an illegal practice that can have an irreversible effect on the population of many threatened species world-wide. The Egyptian vulture also suffers from its effects. Stuffed individuals are transported through Bulgaria and Greece to Western Europe. The traders are after not only the adults but to their young and eggs too. This practice acts as a serious factor for the decline in its numbers. The Egyptian vulture is protected by law and any action against it is punished legally.
