TRAINING SEMINAR IN ETHIOPIA 2013
A training seminar about the study and conservation of the Egyptian vulture was held in Ethiopia in 2013. The event was attended by representatives of conservation organizations and authorities of Ethopia, Chad, Sudan, Djibouti and Somalia. ANTI-POISON SEMINARS
In Greece, a total of 8 seminars were implemented to police and forestry services on the issue of the illegal use of poison. Another four seminars were carried out for Hunting Associations and management bodies (aiming Game guards and rangers who also have jurisdiction in cases of poison baits). BALKAN-LEVEL WORKSHOPS
Three Balkan-level seminars were held on different topics: (1) Conservation science - 2012; (2) Exchange experience on field techniques in 2013; and (3) Anti-poison allience - 2015. More information and relevant documents could be found here.
GREEK NSAP WORKSHOPS
Two workshops were held in Greece in relation to the Egyptian Vulture National Species Action Plan for Greece (NSAP). More information could be found here.
EVAP WORKSHOP 2015
In July 2015, an International workshop was held in Sofia with the aim to develop a Flyway Action Plan for the Conservation of the Balkan and Central Asian Populations of the Egyptian Vulture (EVFAP).
