After some sad news, we have nice news about the Egyptian Vultures on the Balkans. Since one week we have been observing an immature Egyptian Vulture with an yellow plastic ring at the Dadia feeding station. Unfortunately, the distance from the observatory did not allow us to read it.

Happily, today Petros Babakas (the Evros Prefecture employee who is responsible for vultures' feeding) succeed to shoot a picture from the hide at the feeding station. Well, the ring has a code KON and what it is the most important the bird was born in 2010 in Kaspalo (big core area in Dadia National Park) and was ringed by HOS and BSPB.
