• „Bulgarian“ Egyptian vulture in Egypt

More and more often we can see the results of BSPB hard work for marking rare raptors. On 27th of April this year the photographer Ahmed Waheed made this photo of „our“ bird in Eastern Egypt. Although that the code of the ring is unreadable it is clearly visible the yellow color and the position of the ring. They are the undisputed prove for one of the marked young 2010 in Bulgaria. We are allays very happy to see this birds strong and healthy, flying in different parts of the world. In 2012 two similar observations were made in Turkey and Greece.
„The return of the Neophron“ team is very grateful to Ahmed Waheed for sharing with us this information and about all traveling Egyptian vultures we wish save future and successful fly to their bird places.
