22.03.2013
ph. Kaloyan Hristov

On the 12th of March, in the Official Gazette were published amendments
in regulation 11 of the measure 214 "Agri-environmental payments".  The changes regulate the expansion of specialized layers for agri-environmental activities "maintain habitat of the Imperial Eagle and the Egyptian Vulture" and "maintaining habitat of wintering geese".  The proposals were made by the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) due to the extension of the studies on conservation needs and threats to these endangered species - Imperial eagle, Egyptian vulture and wintering geese and also the interest of farmers to new agri-environment activities in 2012.
The application deadline for this direction is till 1 April 2013 inclusive.
