The exposition “The Return of the Neophron” installed in Provadia

30.05.2013

After a trip through the cities of Sofia, Ruse and Plovdiv, the travel exposition “The Return of the Neophron” visited the town of Provadia, where it is staying till the end of June. The exposition was created with the launch of the LIFE+ project on the Egyptian vulture, funded by the EC. It consists of eleven information boards with photographs and messages devoted to the conservation of the Egyptian vulture – an emblematic species for the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB). The exposition was installed in the Professional School for Agriculture “Earth”, thanks to the local supporters to the BSPB and the project “The Return of the Neophron”.
The visit of the travel exposition in Provadia is in relation to the Natura 2000 zone “Provadiisko-Royaksko Plateau” and one of the last Egyptian vultures in north-eastern Bulgaria.
We invite everybody who has the opportunity to visit it!
