Presentation in Haskovo

„Of course!“ – That is the conclusion the students from nine schools in Haskovo region made after number of presentations. Main topics were the rare animal and plant species and their habitats. Special accent was made on the bond between people and nature. Examples for these connections are coming not only from the books, but also from the field experience the lectors from „The return of the Neophron“ have. The children learned what are the ecological role of the vultures in the wild, how important is to cherish and keep the traditional farming and not intensify livestock grazing, how the nature is indicator for the life quality for us and our families.
There were more than 350 students and teachers at the presentations. A few more presentations will be held next month.
The realization of the activity is in cooperation of two projects: LIFE+ „The return of the Neophron“, funded by EU and  „A.G.Leventis“ foundation and “Promoting the Nature Information and Conservation Center in Madzharovo and increasing awareness of the wildlife heritage in the Eastern Rhodopes” supported by the “New Thracian Gold” project .
