Svetlina is in Yemen

Svetlina (Light) is one of the juvenile Egyptian vultures tagged with satellite transmitters last year under the project "The Return of the Neophron”. She seems to be adventurer and explorer, as she took a different path of migration, not like her “brothers” who are wintering in Africa.
She reached the Southern parts of Yemen along the East cost of the Red Sea on the Arabian Peninsula.
Colleagues from Yemen help us learn more about the area in which the juvenile Egyptian vulture is spending the winter. With this brave journey of 3600 km from the nest, Svetlina discovered completely new horizons in our understanding of the migration of Egyptian vultures in the Balkans.
