CISCO and BSPB participated in a joint donation campaign in the Eastern Rhodopes

The Bulgarian Society for the protection of birds (BSPB) and CISCO Bulgaria held a joint donation campaign in the Eastern Rhodopes. “Dimitar Madzharov” secondary school in the town of Madzharovo and elementary school “Ivan Vazov” in Potochnitsa village were provided with a total of ten computers. Representatives from both organizations were greeted with songs by local students dressed with national costumes. Headmasters, teachers, majors and representatives from local authorities hosted the event. A week ago 5 more computers were donated to the school and the kindergarten in the village of Madara.
CISCO Bulgaria has provided the computers and BSPB helped to direct the donation to the target areas of the project "Support for the Egyptian vulture." The computers will be used for educational activities related to the Egyptian vulture, so that children will learn about nature and that the unique bird still resides in their area.
